On the last weekend of each month we hold an art market.
Artists come together to show and sell their creative goods.
There's a nice range of stall holders selling paintings, drawings, prints, ceramics, textiles, illustrations and more.
This year we have a been holding the markets in East Oxford, just off the Cowley road on James St.

THE VENUE

James Street Tavern

A wonderful old pub with a large new event space built on the side called the Pavilion. The venue offers a good menu and there's good coffee from the majestic Jericho Coffee Traders.

It's a lovely daytime event, family friendly and a great chance to meet and chat to the creative community in Oxford.

HISTORY

Beginning in 2021 the art markets originally were held at the wonderful Jam Factory Gallery near the train station in Oxford. After the gallery closed down it was decided to keep the markets going. We found a new space in East Oxford.

We've since held well over fifty regular market days as well as special pop ups for events.

We've created space for nearly two hundred artists to show and sell work and gained support of the local community
