You don't necessarily need a website but it really helps to have some kind of online presence.  There's a good chance someone like your product but for whatever reason may not buy on the day, they may think about it and come back to you.  In which case its really useful to have a platform for folk to find you again, whether its on instagram, Etsy or a sparkling website with your name on.  Have a business card ready to go.
